Dr. Gary Stamps is celebrating 20 years in practice in 2011 and we marked the occasion this summer with the gift of good health. More than 125 folks and their four-legged training partners hit the trails this summer for the free Walk-a-Dog-a-Thon with the goal of walking 20 miles - on their own schedules, on their own paths - during June and July.

Lexi, a female German Shepherd, and her owner, Mary, were the paws-down distance winners logging more than 200 miles!! Congrats to all who braved the summer-long 100+ degree weather to win their prize packs. Half a dozen folks walked more than 50 miles!

Congratulations to the following Honorable Mentions who braved the summer heatwave and also walked 20+ miles:

Laura G. with Kaiser
Jennifer F. with Sadie
Carolyn J. with Aussie
Caleb J. with Aussie
Virginia B. with Rusty
Steve and Adrienne W. with Tucker
Dave R. with Pele
Sue G. with Garland
